Our process begins with a home visit where I assess your basement’s structural integrity, checking for issues like moisture, humidity, and mold. We then discuss your needs and vision for the space. I’ll take measurements and use them to create a fully customized design based on our conversation. You’ll then review the design options, which I’ll present in both custom floor plans and 3D drawings, so you can visualize how everything fits together, including furniture placement.
Visit Our Design Center
The most important step for you is visiting our Design Center. Here, you can experience a full-size finished basement and explore the materials that come with our exclusive triple-lifetime warranty. You’ll have the opportunity to choose from a variety of options, making your basement truly unique. During this visit, we’ll review your custom design proposal and make any adjustments to ensure it aligns with your vision. Once the design is perfect, we provide an exact price—not an estimate—for your project. We also offer easy monthly payment options, so everything can move forward smoothly.
After finalizing the agreement, our project manager will schedule a follow-up inspection to confirm all details, take final measurements, and clarify key aspects like lighting and electrical outlets. A few weeks later, you’ll receive detailed construction drawings, which you’ll review and approve. Your project manager will be your primary contact throughout construction, providing updates and addressing any questions or changes along the way.

Our factory-trained craftsmen, who are our employees—not subcontractors—ensure the highest quality during installation. The construction process proceeds efficiently, thanks to our advanced planning and ordering of materials. Depending on the size and complexity of your project, including any additional features like bathrooms or kitchenettes, we’ll provide an estimated timeline.
Throughout construction, your project manager will stay in touch, ensuring that everything meets your expectations. When the project is complete, all debris will be removed, and your new basement will be cleaned and ready for you to furnish and enjoy. We’ve transformed basements as small as 200 square feet to as large as 2,000 square feet, with multi-use areas based on your dreams and needs.
