A short message from Steve Rennekamp President and Owner of Energy Swing Windows

Type 1 diabetes has shaped my life and my family.

My first wife, Susan, passed away at age 33 from complications of the disease. Years later, my son, Stephen, passed away at age 43 after living with type 1 diabetes.

Their courage continues to inspire me and is the reason Energy Swing has remained committed to supporting Breakthrough T1D for the past 12 years. With the generosity of our customers, employees and friends, we have raised more than $170,000 for type 1 diabetes research, advocacy and support programs.

This year, we are working to move beyond the $200,000 mark.

Why Breakthrough T1D matters

A personal connection. A shared commitment.

Art with a second life

Old windows.
New possibilities.

When Energy Swing replaces a home's windows, some of the reclaimed sashes become canvases. Local artists and members of our community transform them into one-of-a-kind pieces filled with color, imagination and meaning.

On October 1, those pieces come together for one special evening at our Design Center. Enjoy wine and cheese, explore the full collection and bid on the artwork you would love to bring home.

Why Breakthrough T1D

Every auction dollar helps Breakthrough T1D accelerate life-changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent and better treat type 1 diabetes and its complications.
