Inside a ProVia Ascent Door

Ascent is built around strength where it counts, from the corners to the threshold. Here's what's inside.

  1. Dowel-pinned corners. Glued and pinned to keep the door strong and square.
  2. Polyurethane foam core. Insulates through Pittsburgh winters and summers. Most Ascent systems can be ENERGY STAR certified.
  3. Matching woodgrain edge. Same texture as the face, so there's no mismatched edge.
  4. Wide wood stiles. 2⅝" stiles on each side add rigidity.
  5. Thicker fiberglass skin. Stands up to bumps and impacts better than many doors.
  6. Lock block. Reinforces the area where your lockset and deadbolt mount.
  7. Z-AI threshold. A manually adjustable riser in an aluminum mill finish.
  8. Composite bottom rail. Resists rot and moisture.
