Legacy is built heavier than a typical steel door, with features that add up to real strength and security. Here's what's inside.

  1. Composite top endcap. Adds rigidity and helps with energy efficiency.
  2. Foam-filled core. Filled by a computer-controlled process for strength and efficiency. Most Legacy Steel systems can be ENERGY STAR certified.
  3. Tab-and-slot interlocks. ProVia's mechanical interlocks and thermal barrier add strength and cut down on heat and cold transfer.
  4. 20-gauge steel skin. 49% more steel than a standard 24-gauge door.
  5. Rigid lock block. Reinforces the area where your lockset and deadbolt mount.
  6. Seamless steel edge. The edge and face are one continuous piece of steel.
  7. Z-AC threshold. An auto-adjusting riser in an aluminum mill finish.
